I just received my PR card in the post this morning. Landed 11th Jan, so 44 days to get it.

I am flying back to the UK mid march and back to Canada 2 weeks later. Will let you know how things go, worse case I get delayed in the UK.

I landed mid January and my Eta is still valid till 2021. The border agent said I could travel back from the UK to Canada as I am from a Visa Exempt country and have eta, CIC said I need the PR Card or a PRTD and the airline had no real clue.

Same here. It was showing as 'Complete' now back to Decision Made. Maybe they have finished processing the card ::)

Is it possible to check the status of an initial PR Card online or do you have to call CIC? I can login to ECAS but it just shows my Permanent Resident application as complete.

Landed yesterday (11th Jan)...was told by border agent I may get it by April, as I am travelling back to the UK I will need to get a PRTD in London..unless by some miracle the PR Card turns up by early March.

I received the COPR in the post today (it was posted on 19th Dec), sent via international tracked delivery using Royal Mail....landed 15 minutes after and I am now a Permanent Resident of Canada :D

You may be able to get them to print the COPR off at the border if it doesn't turn up, they have access to everything so I am sure they can if required. It is what I will be doing if it doesn't arrive this month.

Yep, I am not expecting to be able to track it as such when it has hit Canada, due to Canada Post it is more to at least make sure they have put the right address and have actually sent it.

I filled out the web form and sent it to London. I am in Vancouver as well. It is always the last bit with the post that is the issue, even in the UK when doing passport renewal etc you always expect the damn things to get lost in the post...Canada is no different. I would be more than happy to...

Have you received your COPR yet? ... I am in the same position as you, I have contacted them asking for a tracking number as I assume it has been sent from London by Royal Mail.
