Welcome home shandymoo!! Glad all went well and your immigration journey is finally over ...My husband lands next Saturday ...we are getting his list of goods ready ...if he doesnt have to use it, great ...Ive never been so excited in my life ... ;D

Does anybody know if you have to fill out a list of goods you are bringing in to the country when you land for PR? I know when you move from the US into Canada you have to but i wasn't sure about moving from the UK or any other country? Thank you in advance ... :D

Thank you both ...I not only have 9 sleeps but i have to work 6 more days too ...i don't know if that's going to help me through the days or drive me insane ...so much to do and so little time ...but who cares ...my husband and i are finally going to be together ... :P ;D ...thank you EVERYONE...

My husband just picked up his passport with visa and COPR!!! ...he will be landing June 4th ...Im finally going to be MRS to my MR!!!! ... It must be fate ..its pouring rain in London and its pouring rain in Northern Ontario ;)

When i was moving back into Canada as a returning resident, from the US after living there for 11 years, I handed in my list of goods when i was reclaiming my residency back, at the same time, I also handed them a list of goods to follow ... Hope that helps ..

I received mine in about 5 days ..i brought it into my bank, filled the backs in with my address and name, the bank stamped all 3 receipts, they kept one , i sent one to immigration and kept the third one ...it was so very easy ...

My pics were all on my digital camera ...i put the photos together myself and printed them myself ...saved a load of money ...the greeting cards, i took them into an office supply store and copied both front and inside on both sides of the paper so i could keep the cards ...a little pricey but...

We sent in 16 pages that i put together on Photoshop with 2-3 pictures on each page dated, whom was in the picture and where it was taken ...it was enough for immigration ...got PPR the beginning of May ... They didnt give us back our pics ...but, then again, i gave them copies ...

What incredible news!! ...I am so happy for you ...The wait is agonizing but now you can at least relax and know your wait is over ...Hope is always a good thing, just doesn't always feel the greatest ...its bitter sweet til the end tho ...Congrats again !!!

Try going here ..they are the most reasonable and they are right at Charing Cross Station in London ...my husband has his done there and paid £6 for 8 pictures even tho he only needed 2 .. http://www.idphotoshop.co.uk/

The email does tell you what day and times they are open ...Thursdays between 2 & 3 ONLY ..you will need to take two additional photos and the instructions and size are in the PPR email ...Guarantee?? there are no guarantees in life, but the email and the ticket you get handing in your passport...
