    LMIA is nothing to be sure about because your employer needs to have a good proof that he really needs you to work for him not a Canadian. In my case the process to get LMIA took 6 months.

    I'm Just curious why you want to appeal? According to what you said and what Officer stated you didn't show enough funds. It was your mistake not the officer. You can appeal only if you have strong proof that the officer made a mistake if you don't have it than appeal is just a waste of time.

    Exactly the same situation happened to me. They ask for drivers history only if you want to Get discount. In Canada you start as a fresh new driver unless you want to pay less for the insurance.

    NOC code is different from Work permit NOC code.

    The NOC number needs to fit the titel, which you have on the work permit. If you used 2171 to apply for work permit, which you are now working on, than 2171 is your noc code. You cannot change It now Just like that.
