Can I get Quebec public healthcare coverage while waiting for spousal sponsorship?

I haven't submitted yet. I haven't moved to Quebec/Canada yet. Do you have some recommendations for the emergencies health insurance? I checked the Blue Cross visitors insurance, but it only covers to $150k, it doesn't seem enough to me? When I buy my travel insurance, I buy the ones with...

    Spousal sponsorship

What about exiting and re-entering during inland application, what should I say at the officer for reason of entry? At that point I can't be vague about the application I guess as they will be able to see that I have been staying in Canada for a long time and probably even see I have applied for...

    Spousal sponsorship

Thanks. I am just worried if they asked me about ties to my home country as I feel I won't have a convincing proof. All I would have is: my parents have a spareroom for me (in Spain) and I have quite a lot of savings (in Norway). Obviously I will have given up my job in my home country...

    Spousal sponsorship

Hi, I am living abroad with my Canadian wife and planning to move back to Canada in the new year to apply for inland sponsorship. Does my wife need to declare at the border she is moving back permanently? I believe she does if she wants to declare the goods she is bringing in? In reality we...

Inland spousal sponsorship, exiting and re-entering Canada during the process

Any help on this please? Anything else I can show to ease the officer concerns about home country ties? I mean... if I applied for spousal sponsorship, obviously my plan A is to move to Canada, so it is difficult to keep ties for 1 year in the home country... does the officer consider this fact...

How to use Spousal AoR for work permit in Quebec?

Thanks for your answer. I have another question: When you entered as visitor to apply for spousal sponsorship, did your spouse enter the border at the same time as you? Did she declare she was moving back to Canada permanently? And did this make the border officer more suspicious?

Spousal sponsorship, can I apply for OWP just after getting AOR or need to wait for CSQ?

It's spousal sponsorship and, in the meantime, I have been told that in order to apply for OWP I only need AoR. Are you 100% sure that I need CSQ too, even if it is spousal sponsorship?

Inland - When I apply for OWP, do I need to show proof of ties with home country?

So I don't need to show proof of ties to my home country for the OWP then? Because unfortunately it seems to me I will struggle to show ties even if in reality I would never stay in Canada if they were to refuse my spousal application..

Inland - When I apply for OWP, do I need to show proof of ties with home country?

Hi, As per title, when I apply for OWP once I receive the AOR for my inland spousal application, do I need to show proof of ties with my home country? Also, let's say I will apply for both OWP and visitor record, just in case they reject one of the 2 applications, would having the 2nd...

Inland spousal sponsorship, exiting and re-entering Canada during the process

I haven't been given a stamp on my passport, I have simply had to select how many days I was going to stay on the 'self-service' kiosk and then asked again the question by the officer. No more questions and no stamp. I can bring proof of savings and a statement from my parents that they own a...

Inland spousal sponsorship, exiting and re-entering Canada during the process

Hi, I have applied for inland spousal sponsorship 2 months ago after entering as a visitor (I am from an eTA country). I now need to leave Canada briefly for 1 week. Has anyone had to do this during their inland application? Any suggestions about what to say and what to show to the border...

Inland spousal application - Best health insurance

Hi, I am looking to submit my inland spousal application (I am the PA) in the next few months. In Quebec, I won't have access to the public healthcare until I get the PR, so I need to buy a private health insurance for many months. Does anyone have some recommendations? I checked the Blue...

Can you review/criticize my budget (Quebec City)

well, what I would like is a feedback if any of these are unrealistically low (travel/fun is personal, so let's leave that out). I would like a feedback on food, health insurance, phone, transport (very cheap car, paid outright) in particular. or too high, I mean $400/person/month of grocery...
