    I thought the reason why a spouse would eliminate the chance of sponsoring a different family member, is if that spouse was not canadian, thusly you would be obligated to sponsor your husband/wife. But my husband is a CANADIAN CITIZEN and it's obvious he would not qualify for me to sponsor him...
