    June 2019 citizenship applicants

I had no issues when applying for PR, so I am very surprised by this. I have been in Canada for 11 years now (starting as a student) so this is all the more surprising.

    June 2019 citizenship applicants

An update, or a lack of an update from me. Applied in June 2019 and got AOR in August 2019, with in process in October 2019. Radio silence since then. My wife applied in Feb 2020 and she has her oath scheduled.... GCMS notes come back fully redacted in the history portion, and CBSA notes didn't...

    2019 Applicants Stuck

June 2019 applicant, with AOR in August 2019, still no further update. Ever since my application went in process in October 2019, I have not heard anything. All I know is that my security verifications are "in process". GCMS notes redacted to the point that they are useless and MP giving the...

    June 2019 citizenship applicants

Great to see Scarborough and Toronto applicants getting test dates. Still waiting here, how do I know if Toronto or Scarborough is processing mine? Are there two offices? I applied from "North York" to be exact. Sorry if it has been asked before. Getting anxious now as Scarborough/Toronto...

    Flagpoling at Rainbow Bridge

But it's not. I have a US Visa and chose to flagpole. No questions asked, no stamps on passport from the US side. My friend flagpoled a couple of times for his work permit and has been back to the US multiple times without any issue..... with a Pakistani Passport.

Does secondary applicant need to submit the transcript certificate

This is FSW points criteria. You qualify, great. Need more than 69 points. I was talking about Express Entry score, which is separate from FSW Criteria. You need to calculate your score from the calculator for express entry as well. This will be the deciding factor whether you will get selected...

Does secondary applicant need to submit the transcript certificate

If you are claiming points for the secondary applicant's education or work experience, you need to provide documentation to support it. If you are not claiming points, move it to Personal History section rather than work history, or attach an LOE where you have to upload a file.

    Flagpoling at Rainbow Bridge

Go to Queenston-Lewiston if you can. I went 9pm on a Monday night and there was no wait. Drove up to the US border, got a flagpole slip and drove straight back to Canada. 30 mins later, everything was done.

The agent's note on my GCMS notes is incorrect

I had a similar note but it said recognized. Did you go to McGill by any chance? There were two DLIs for McGill. Also, in the GCMS notes you can see what you claimed in the EE application. Compare the DLI again with your institution's. At the same time, you can send a CSE and attach proof...

CEC - Experience with Landing at Queenston-Lewiston

Hi Guys, Happy to let you know that my journey to PR has come to a close. I landed at Queenston-Lewiston last night around 9pm and it was a breeze on both the US and Canadian side. My wife and I both have visas to enter the US but we decided to flagpole. Just let the US Immigration officer...

Calculation of Canada Work Exp# in CRS

There is no way unless you work another few months and complete 3 years. With the cutoff scores so low, I don't even think you need that additional 10 points.

Short travel to the US after FBI PCC is issued

That's the part where there is a question because of the statement below: You may need a police certificate from any country or territory that you have spent six months or more since the age of 18. For example: if you visited, worked or lived in a country for two months, left for a few years...

Short travel to the US after FBI PCC is issued

The problem is with the definition of lived there. There is no doubt that it is at the discretion of the VO to accept or ask for a new one. The point is that there is no concrete guideline or definition of "lived there". I know that the FBI PCC takes long. If you take the route of submitting...

Short travel to the US after FBI PCC is issued

I called CIC. They did not give me a definitive answer. Why would anyone risk their PR app for such a small matter though?

Short travel to the US after FBI PCC is issued

Consensus on this forum is that you need a new PCC if your PCC was issued before the last time you left that country. I took this advice and I actually got a new PCC for my spouse even though she had gotten it during her last trip to that country. It's better to be safe than sorry.

AOR in February 2017 - Connect Here!

I had a very similar timeline. My BG changed to NA around a week after I submitted travel history and a week after that I got PPR.
