I looked online at peoples images of their copr.. i think thats normal not to have place of birth.. only a few have it filled many do not.. not gonna stress too much about it. I mean my husband has his visa regardless i doubt they will turn him away at immigration here..

For my husband on the visa its just his first and last name as well. I think thats normal sicne theres not much room on it anyways their passport numbers are on there too which matches up its fine

but assuming the husband is the sponsor, it will state it in the taxes that he files which he has to submit anyways. and if he's paying alimony, he has to state it.. immigration deals with thousands of cases similar to this, why would it raise a red flag if he's paying alimony, alimony is normal..

dont lie, just state it because its possible they will find out and youre taking a big risk by lying about it. This is the canadian government.. theyve obviously had cases like this before.. just be honest and put it down. if they investigate further have other sources ready to show your...

I'm sorry to say but this is not good advice.. one thing i learned from this whole process as well as reading other peoples scenarios here is never lie to immigration.. they clearly ask for that information for a reason! by lying you risk the chance of that person not being able to come to...

Just a heads up, theres a reason as to why the flights stopping over the US are cheaper! they give everyone a hard time along with the whole airlines issues! just a warning to those planning to stop over in US! You need a transit visa as well!

Thats true! My husband flight which is the last week of april is Manila -> Tokyo (no transit visa required) -> Toronto

Agreed, getting a transit visa takes time and money, its not even worth it! plus US immigration has been so tough on people lately
