For me in Monteral, No documents were asked. only passport, PR card and Driving licence was asked. I believe it should not be an issue.

my passports and COPR were processed and dispatched from Ottawa after 7 business days once passports reached them. Landing time generally would be around 1 year from the time you took your medicals. The same date would be on both COPR and Visa.

ideally TRV in India is taking 27 days right now, probably another 1 week for passport dispatch and collection. Meanwhile if you receive PPR, then I guess only way is to contact VFS Global and request them for cancelling your TRV application. Passports are always sent to Visa office through VFS...

For work permit extension, passport is not required. For Temporary Residence visa stamping, Passports, Medicals would be submitted as part of the package. They both are 2 separate processes. Work permit extension doesn't require Passport to be submitted.
