Divorce and remarry before applying for EE

I'm not sure if this will help you... Are you common-law? (under Canadian law, not the country you are from. i.e. you have lived together for at least 12 months?) If so, you can apply as a common-law couple, even though he is not divorced. Just submit the relevant common law documentation...

    Common Law Proof - Photos

It depends on what other docs you have. We didn't send any photos. We did send: - Joint lease agreements (dating back 2 years) - Joint bank account statements (also 2 years) - Joint travel insurance at same address - One utility bill with both our names on - Joint flight bookings (as we'd been...

How to enter integrated 5 year degree in Express Entry form

I had exactly the same thing - a 4 year undergrad masters program, showed as the same equivalency as yours. I did your option 2 - entered the same degree twice - and explain why in LoE. I got PR no problem.

    Personal photo

For this photo, we just provided a digital photo of the size required (I can't remember what that was off the top of my head). We just took these ourselves, against a white background (our fridge!!) and that was fine.

Contacting IRCC to request change of visa office

I know I've seen a contact email for this somewhere in the forums, but I can't find it... I'm currently in the NA stage of EE FSW. I've just paid the RPRF. We're from the UK, and listed a UK address as our current address, so it would make sense that we get assigned to the London office...

Awesome, thanks. The letter only directed me to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp, which just sends you in a circle to log into your My CIC account, where there is no where to pay....

    Paying ROPR Fee

I didn't pay the ROPR fee when I submitted the application, and have now been asked to pay it. The letter directs me to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp. When I select UK, Permanent Residence & ROPR Fee - for express entry, this sends me to the log in page for my account...

    Viewing rejected application

I found the answer - go into submitted application, then replace the end of the URL with /applicationChecklist.do You then have access to the whole application. BUT you can't do this on a separate window whilst logged into your current application, it has to be on a different computer. Saved a...

    Viewing rejected application

Our PR application was rejected for a fixable reason (incorrect document - my fault). We've reapplied and have just received ITA again. Does anyone know if you can view your previously submitted application? I can't find all the forms anywhere, only the page with the uploaded pdfs. It would be...

4 year undergrad masters (UK) - how to fill in after ITA

I have a four year undergrad master's from a UK university. This was assessed by IQAS as being equivalent to a bachelor's, plus a post graduate diploma. When filling out the EE profile, I checked that I had '2 or more bachelors degrees or diplomas'. But now, when filling in education history...

IMM 5409, proof of common law & previous marriage/separation

Bump. For UK common law applicants - notary fees seem crazy (£100+ for a single form). Is there any way around this?

Travel History - trips to multiple countries

I've travelled a lot. Some of these trips have been to multiple countries, e.g. 3 months split between Chile & Argentina, where I probably crossed the border 8 times. Bike touring in Europe through about 6 different EU countries, camping somewhere different every night. Do I need to list every...

When and where will we need to submit passports?!

Just putting together docs for eAPR. I gather from reading the forums that at some point I'll have to choose which visa office we're applying through, though I haven't been asked this yet. Is this correct? And will our passports have to be sent to that office? We're currently in the UK (where...
