My gf also has applied for the sp extension since Nov 24th, and there's absolutely no news regarding her app. I have called the IRCC several time, and the automated phone system keeps saying the application is not even started yet.

I did the questionnaire online through MyCIC, and looks like I am eligible to do it, but also on IRCC website, it says that I have to apply for a visitor visa from the local IRCC office that serves my country. So do you know which one is correct?

I think it's when the card was made, hence the expiry date.

Mine is Approved now. Are you able to see the Expiry Date of the PR card in your MyCIC? Could you take a screenshot?

Guys, I linked the PR card applicaition with my CIC account, and it's just updated 2 mins ago showing that a final decision has been made?? even though an IRCC agent told me that my card was already in production last week. So I guess they just actually mailed out the card today.

What if we only stay in the foreign country for under one week? Like I'm going to visit my relatives in the US in early August and will be back in 4 days. How do I reenter Canadan or even board a plane with only the COPR?

How do you know? is there any way I can speed up the process. I have to go to the US next month to visit a family member, but I'm not sure if I can use the COPR to board the plane.
