PR card application approved in my CIC today. Landed on July 28th in Point Roberts (Vancouver area).

Hi all, I can't seem to get a clear answer on this. I plan on landing on July 28th in Point Roberts (I just received COPR), but I will need to go to Seattle for a couple of days at the end of August. Will I be able to come back to Canada without PR card (just COPR and passport)? I will have...

I took TEF and found it super easy (French is my mother language though), even a bit easier than CELPIP (and I would say I speak English better than French now). Someone who doesn't speak French very well would have a really difficult time though, I doubt it's realistic in 6-8 months.

Mine was approved on July 14th and I just got my COPR, you should get it really soon.

I called them this morning and told me I don't need to send COPR back. They sent me a link by email to the CSE form and told me to explain the error, and then to let the border agent know at landing. It seems that place of birth isn't a huge deal, luckily. I still don't get how they wrote down...

What happened, did you still land fine? This just happened to me and I'm planning to land tomorrow, I think I will be fine as long as I mention it to the officer....

I think I would rather call, as when I sent CSE last time it took a month to get a reply. I'm tempted to just try landing tomorrow since I live near the border and perhaps they can just correct it then.

Thank you for your answer! I actually checked GCMS notes and saw that a change to my place of birth was made by an agent after my application was submitted, so this would be an error on their part. I will call them tomorrow to see what I should do, but from looking online it looks like some...

I just got my confirmation of permanent residence in the mail and the place of birth is wrong??! I have zero idea how this happened as the city written on there is a completely different city than the one I was born in (it's in a different country even!) and there is NO way I would have written...

My application was approved on July 14th but when I got COPR my place of birth was wrong. I can't even imaging putting in the wrong birth place, but I'd like to verify this. Is there a way to see my submitted application? I can see my EE profile but not the application I submitted after...

I have the same approval date, but can't check on tracking number because I forgot to write it down... hopefully we get our letter soon!
