Oh no they didn't call to tell us it was approved. I just decided to check my cic account then saw that it said application closed and application approved. It definitely gives more details than Ecas. You should try linking ur application again.

We just got a passport request, no interview.

Just an update...I signed into my account today, it says file closed and application approved...still waiting for the passport to be returned...Ecas still says in progress though. Kingston is moving along well. Hope others hear something this week as well!! Let go KVO lets go!!!

February applicant..no interview just passport request. Yup I agree with you. Everyone's situation is different, not because someone didn't get means another person won't. People should definitely still try and apply for the trv.

My spouse has a Canadian Visa. It does not help for faster processing. All they use it to look at, is if your spouse has visited you in Canada during your relationship and how much many times.

hey all just giving an update we are February 5th 2016 applicants..Kingston visa office...my husband recieved passport request October 24th. Hopefully the wait is almost over. Praying for speedy processing for everyone...I know it's difficult to wait but let's keep the faith!!!

It's supposed to mean when ur file is due by but it can change...it can be earlier or later. Mine was March 2017 but we got passport request on Monday. So you never know!!

There should be more passport request coming this week. Also if your files are linked on the CIC website check the messages section and status to make sure there are no pending messages. I saw the request for hubby's passport there. For all those who have interviews, all the best keep the faith...
