I just got the ppr email too, Nov 2015 applicant, 26 months and 20 days , what a coincidence it is the Chinese new year and the CIC sent PPR to Chinese applicants. Thank all of you support each other through this. I hope all you will get PPR soon.

Nov applicant here -my medical was " you dont need exam" but now it changed to " we are reviewing your exam" . has anyone gone through like this ? will my medical be changed to " you passed the exam " again like you guys?

no, but security screening is for CSIS ,and HIRV is for CBSA, both of them is background check

S15 means either ur background is underway or done, u can compare ur lastest gcms with earlier ones,if there any other S( ) was on the corner beside s15 on ur earlier gcms? For my case , there were s15 and s16 , then only s15 left, so I know my HIRV was done.

I got my GCMS note today, according the s.16 was disappered on the right corner, I know my HIRV was done by CBSA , as well my entire background check was done, but my file location still is PS, I think my case is watting to be reviewed. Did u guys get ur gcms recently ?

when security in process，there was s16 on right corner，then disappeared，and showed hirv not started，then they wiped hirv white，and show s16 again，and I know cbsa is responsible to check hirv.why cic didnt start security screen and hirv at same time？ is it for everyone have to get both security...

got my gcms yesterday, the CSIS security screening was done , then they started the CBSA HIRV(human and international rights verification), dont know how longer it will take ?!

Just got my GCMS, file location changed to PS- from PS, they wiped the words behind -， but I can still see there is half of "s" behind - ,dont know what is the "S" stands for , maybe Security , second?

Nov 25 2015 applicant called CIC today, was told background still in process. I wonder if the agent just login in Mycic, and tell me my status, or there is another system which the CIC agent can access ,dig more info for me. why some applicant were told in final review ,and lots of useful info ?
