My application is all finished, my husband just needs to land now. And yes we did medical and police check upfront.

My husband got his passport back!!!! Visa expires August 10, 2017 so he has 2 weeks to land. We also got our application package back and all our pictures and everything!!!! Good luck to everyone else waiting!

We are really nervous about the visa validity...would abu dhabi VO really provide my husband with only 1 week to land in Canada or will they extend and at least give 30 days or something??? Did anyone hear of a similar experience?

Hasan I thought yours expired in June??? On myCic dus it say anything for "expiry date" under the "Document Status" section??

Our Medical expires on August 10, 2017, so does anyone have any idea if they would extend the visa validity in this case??

I sent my passport on july 11 as well and we have not gotten it back yet :(

I don't think that 1 email will hurt...just don't overdo it and don't spam them with emails.

Yes there is one sheet where you must include names and date of birth information for your whole family but cic doesn't really need baptism certificates for them if they are not being sponsored in the application

Hey Jullie! No you do not need to provide for your whole family, you only need to provide information about your spouse and any kids if you are sponsoring them too!!
