My account shows "Medical passed on Nov 12." My parents did their medical exam in China, 7 calendar days after the clinic submit the report, I saw the status change.

no, you don't need to. However, you should maintain the income level making sure it meets the requirement.

I kinda find MyCIC useless. I have received additional document request from LVO via email and relatively up to date status in ECAS. However on the other hand MyCIC remains the same as in the beginning, no message, no updates reflecting the real time situation. Thoughts? Or am I missing anything?

Are you sure? The request specifically ask for PCC from countries applicants stayed for more than 6 months. Please see below original instructions: “Updated Original police certificates from each country in which you have spent 6 months or more since the age of 18.”

Yes. I guess that is their standard procedure. No idea when IME request will come. Hong Kong office always be different.

Hi @YULIA-2016 and @robertp Please update my line: I have received email from Hong Kong Office tonight (Aug 28), requesting House registeration (Hukou), Police certificate (both China and Canada, as my parents are in Canada now for more than 6 months), and a few forms (updated) in 30 days.

Depends on the which visa office your case is forwarded. If it is Mississauga, you may not need it at all. If it is Hong Kong, you definitely need it. Timing wise, it is hard to say.
