Finally ECAS says decision made :) My CIC Application CLOSED everything Passed and "This application has been approved" Two weeks since we sent the passport to Rome, just waiting for COPR! What has the average time for passports to return been so far? 3 weeks?

Unfortunately, i think they simply answered your question... they didn't actually request anything yet. Had you actually provided your application number in the email? If you hadn't, this is just a generic answer they would have sent to anyone.

Your wife can request them on your behalf!

The notes are good for you, to know what they are thinking on your case. It wont pressure or affect them at all.

To be honest they never usually reply to emails....

It says it takes 30 business days (which for me is cutting it close for the interview) but it also says they are experiencing high volume right now- hope they come faster. I have seen in some cases that proof and photos have been lost- and that is what they have asked me for, more proof- though...

Today i received an email that our application has been updated, i went online and there is no update. Yesterday i received an email requesting an interview next month, but online it still said "not needed at this time" No update on ECAS either.

Then fingers crossed, you should be getting some good news soon! We had anticipated the interview, since i used to be a PR and screwed up - so it might all seem kinda weird to them. Hopefully you get through, no interview, no hassle!
