Hi I would like to know what you did as I am in a similar situation? I am thinking the best would be to apply for the extension and include that proof with your PR app and also perhaps explain it on a letter?

I am also wondering about this question, as on the CIC website it says that PR applicants do not need to submit a Canada PCC unless asked for, so in your case, I am not sure if that request from them is explicitly asking for it, since they do not mention specific countries. Please let us know...

If you apply for Sponsorship but not OWP, this does not mean you have to leave Canada, as far as I know, as long as you have status in Canada via other means than the OW, such as an extension of your visitor visa. I also need a 2nd extension and worried about that but I have read many times...
