we submitted to CPC-Ottawa end of Nov It took them around 4 weeks (excluding the xmas holidays) to stamp the passports and return them.

Usually takes atleast a week after approval before the return tracker is activated. Some are very lucky that theirs gets dispatched in a day or two. Mine was approved Dec 28, still waiting for them to mail it.

Where did you submit them? Ottawa or local VO? If Ottawa, they dont notify. You just have to keep checking the return tracker. If local VO using VFS, then VFS should email/ text when your passports are ready for pickup.
