Still alhamdulillah ala kulli haal. Things could be worse. Btw, they do have a Facebook page "Canada in UAE". Since they don't respond to emails properly, and don't provide any means of communication, I'm thinking of commenting there.

Honestly, I'm so frustrated with these people. The Abu Dhabi visa office is just ridiculous. How can you make people pay 700 dirhams and then make them wait so long that they miss their classes? I mean, I've had to pay around 700dirhams for the application, 800 dirhams for the medical test...

I applied from Bahrain on June 17th, passed my medicals on August 2nd and since then...nothing. I'm in my 11th week now. This is crazy. Praying constantly to get that request. If it takes too long I might have to defer ??? . Does your uni have a deferral option? Better than getting your offer...
