Hi @sgp1986 Congratulations. Did you inform them that you are in Canada? My spouse(US) is in Canada and got the pre-arrival letter on Sept 1 and waiting for next steps.

No one knows, some people get it, some don't. It was straight forward interview, asking to show the documents I applied with.

Ecas does not show yet the status for online applicants. You have to contact IRCC to link/fix it. Hopefully its resolved in future.

Following up on this issue: I just received email after submitting the webform that they have fixed the ecas issue. We can now check the status in ecas for online applications. I don't see the latest test invite entry there but rest updates in application are there.

Its requested case-by-case and though more people are getting it recently. No one knows the reason. Maybe too much travel or a common name, its neither for me, so not sure.

Update: For those who received AOR, you cannot check the ecas status online yet. Agent told me there is glitch in their system(only for citizen apps submitted online) and they are working on it to update ecas status.
