It seems you are one week before me in terms of file delivery. Hope you get it soon so my turn comes. Why don't you need biometric? Was that part of a work permit application?

Let us know when you get it. That way we can guess how fast they are processing files.

I fear the same. I would not be surprised if they do so. Anything is possible in this messy system.

I guess there should not be many people applying for federal PR during the summer of 2020 because of COVID. This should move pretty fast. I am inland and sent the files in August. Thats what I hope.

It is slow but moving. I think it is about 12-14 months to get the AOR for inlands.

Does anyone know if the 51000 applicants are inland or both (inland and outland)? I don't think their target of 40K per year will clear the backlog. I believe 40K PR also includes all other streams of permanent residency not only skilled worker

Does AOR mean anything? I read many people who had AORs but have been waiting for a long time. Is there a timeline like it will take an average of 6 months after Aor to get hour PR?
