The 16 months is not acceptable provided we know that 1. They take one Friday off in every two weeks. 2. How many 'hard working' officers VS how many 'talking' managers in CIC ?

I just sent a very long email, and the MP's secret replied to me within one hour. The secret said he called IRCC, and urged them to process my case. Finally, he did the trick.

Have you tried the local MP? This method works for me. I am Jan 4 applicant, and got nothing until May 16. So i contact local MP, and CIC send me the PPR on May 19th. CIC's ass needs to be kicked. This is my past experience. Hope this works for you as well.

I am googleing the 'local parliament member regina', so you can replace 'regina' to your city. After that, i got https://regina.foundlocally.com/Local/Gov-FederalMPs.htm, then find a local MP and his email address. Hope the above method works for you.

Same story here! I am Jan 4th applicant, and my application was approved on April 13th according to both CIC agent and my local MP. However, i was told to wait until June 10th by CIC agent (or the end of June by my local MP) for PPR. Just don't understand why i have to wait... CIC is S..T!

You are so strong! I want to invite a local media when calling CIC, and let the public know how desperate we are when calling CIC. Will this strategy work?
