BLS's website is fine, I was talking about checking status on OCI services website. They ask you to input Passport number and file reference number.

So if app ref number is CANTXXXXX, Can passport number is ABXXXXXX, File ref number is: CANTXXXXXABXXXXXX?

OCI services website asks for a File Reference Number to check status (not same as application reference number), and BLS is not able to provide this. How are folks able to check their status without the file ref number?

I was there for passport surrender, next step is OCI for which I need another appointment or pickup drop service

I've been checking appointments for the past few days for Toronto, and nothing has opened up.

I had applied for Toronto (in person) on the morning of June 9th. I got a message that it's now with purolator, to be delivered to me tomorrow June 21st. Sadly, they are not giving out appointments anymore and forcing you to opt for their pickup drop off service worth $84.
