At what stage in the process does the file move from Sydney, NS office to Ottawa? Does it move for all applicants?

Yeah, we got a call yesterday from a Private number asking for clarification for if our application is inland or outland. So that they can accordingly process in in NS or ON office. The question about getting an interview inside Canada popped in my mind after call ended.

Guys have a question, we have applied outland but my spouse is here in Canada on a visitor's visa. Is there a way to get interview request in Canada itself?

No news, we called a couple of weeks back. Was given a temp application. But nothing in terms of an AOR.

We are in process of moving cities while the application is in process. Will be in airbnb for couple months in between. Does CIC send any correspondence by mail? or is it all using email? We plan to update address once we know our new address but there will be a couple of months gap between...

Thanks, guys for your responses. An update, I called in and the person on phone did confirm that they have my application. She gave us a temp number, was surprised herself why we haven't received any email yet. Regd change of address she said we just need to fill the web form and will be good.

So I'm stilling waiting for AOR, and planning to move from ON to BC. I understand I can notify CIC about a change of address once the application is live, but since my application hasn't even been picked up yet not sure how the change of address request will be processed at this stage. Anyone...

We want to call and check regarding our application, but since we have not received an AOR yet. We do not have an application number to input. Is anyone else in same boat, if so what's option did you chose when calling?
