Online practice tests for Canadian Citizenship

Hello, Can anyone tell me how useful these 2 sites are: https://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship and http://www.citizenshipcounts.ca/quiz I can score pretty high on both (usually between 35 and 38 out of 40) but I'm still working on taking down notes and improving my score each time. Is...

    cit0002e-2 | Question 11

That makes sense!! I just wasn't sure if they were then going to look at my current job where it says until "PRESENT" and then start looking into whether or not I am still employed there. I was worried they might reject my application as they thought I was lying. But it makes sense what you are...

    Eligibility period Question

Hello, I was wondering something about the eligibility period for Canadian Citizenship. I believe I recently became eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship. It says my eligibility period starts in late November 2014 (using the Physical Presence Calculator). 5 years ago from now. In the...

Could an ECA report count as Proof of Language?

I just got off the phone to ircc. I mentioned about my expired IELTS certificate from 2014. The lady didn't sound completely sure but she thinks it should be fine. I mentioned my ECA report as well. She said it's good to provide both. My mind is a little more at ease about this now. I am going...

I just called ircc I asked about my expired IELTS certificate from 2014. The lady put me on hold for about 5 mins and went and checked and came back and told me I should be okay to provide this as Proof of language. She didn't sound 100% sure but she did tell me it should be fine. I also...

Could an ECA report count as Proof of Language?

Thanks. Yeah I guess my old IELTS could work but I feel the ECA report is more likely to satisfy the requirements. From reading on the website it seems like it would work. Just don't like taking the chance though.

Hey, So I was reading this: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/eligibility/language-proof.html It seems as though if you have studied a course in English or French and have either of the following: diploma...

    Expired IELTS for Citizenship application

Hello and thanks for the response. Looks like I may need to dish out another $300 or so to do the test for the 3rd time then ☹ So to clarify, even though I submitted this 2014 IETS certificate with my PR application in 2016, and the PR application was refused, I cannot use this expired IELTS...

    Expired IELTS for Citizenship application

Just to add to this. I used this 2014 certificate when I applied for PR in 2016 but my application was refused because the IELTS certificate had expired by then. So then I had to re-take the test and got a certificate in 2017 which I successfully used when I came to apply for PR again.

Hello, I have an IELTS certificate from December 3rd 2014. I also have an IELTS certificate from 2017 but unfortunately it's no longer in my possession (I sent it to Canada immigration for my PR and I've missed the boat now in requesting a copy as it's been over 2 years). Luckily, because I...
