SJgolfer, there is no visa stamp with a time limit added in the PR's passport. If you notice the PR Visa issued for landing is only valid for one entry. Once the entry is complete then that visa is cancelled and the PR will never need another visa as the PR card is what they use from now on to...

Yes, the tracking number shows the passports are in SVO, I think as ames suggests the status will not change until they actually process the passports.

I still don't understand. How do you apply for the PR card? As I said I understood that for the first time there is no need to apply it will be sent automatically. So when do you give them pictures for this? Should my wife have pictures with her when she lands? Thanks

You had to supply more photos when you landed? I was under the impression that the first PR card was automatic for new PR applicants. Where these photos different from the ones you sent along with the PPR?

Well when it was over a week after I know that the hard copy of the police certificate was delivered to the SVO and the status on the Ecas was still showing "provided" and not "Received" I did email them to ask if they could confirm receipt of the hard copy. They replied the next day that they...

What additional document did they require? In my case it was the Police check, which I uploaded that changed it to "Provided". Then yesterday it again said "additional document required" and that was the Passport Request.
