Tell your MP office to inform Delhi office. Talk to your MP office they can collect information on behalf of you. At the same time email Delhi office mention you did not received any letter yet and your MP office says......

Anyone knows how many days cic will take to background check.

I had the same situation but don't worry, Send a request letter for date extension. They will give you enough time. Let them know the real situation which not under your control.

Hi, I am August 2015 applicant. finished my Interview on November 2015 and submitted re-medical, and FBI Clarence Certificate too. still now GC key says background check no needed at this moment. have no idea when I will have PPR. God with us and praying for all who is waiting and waiting ... BV

R u sure FBI take 8-9 weeks? I applied last day of November 2016 and waiting...

Hi, You can request NVDO for time extension, and try to contact with child father and send the documents( email/letter/text) to NVDO. India court is different than Canada and there is no separate law for child custody like here. I hope this idea will help you.
