Yes usually it’s not but recently people have been getting confirmation of permanent residency 3 to 4 weeks after Medical requests. Some applications are being processed very fast.

I am hoping they will start replying in august..I've tried to contact everyone but the embassy never responds and vfs office say they have nothing to do with online applications..So all we can do is wait and hope for the best!!!

Yes I am applying for Masters. My parents applied online for a visitor's permit and they got a reply one week later. I thought online applications were faster that's why I applied online, I am regretting not doing a paper application now

yes I applied online..Did you get any e-mail from CIC in the last few weeks notifiying you that they opened your application? I got one on the 17th of July so don't know if it's a good sign. What region are you applying for?

I have also applied from Beirut on the 13th of june..I have tried to contact anybody in the embassy of Canada in Ankara but no one replies!! I have a ticket booked for the 17th of August and I am getting really frausturated Did you get a reply yet?
