I would like to ask. After we first land the days start counting towards maintaining PR and towards citizenship as well right? For PR the time spent outside the country with a canadian spouse is counted. Is that true as well for days towards citizenship?

So u r saying that i cannot have the process for the PR card and then ask for a PRTD while out of the country? We have a permanent address there that we can use. So in case the PR card comes while still abroad they can send it to us. Or this case is not advisable?

I am thinking for worst case scenarios. We land and start process for PR card but dont get it before we intend to go back. So we need PRTD. I read in one of the forms for PRTD u can add a section for H&C in case it gets rejected to be reviewed. But it shouldnt be rejected from the first time...
