I did not accept the COPR, rather what I did was write a brief explanation stating about my marriage and I provided the documents way back in march and my spouse is not added to the application. Post that I called 1 (888) 242-2100 and spoke to the agent and he confirmed the discrepancy from...

so what i did was, i did not accept the COPR, and emailed IRCC back (portal email) and called the customer support of the discrepancy and they reopened the file.

I had the same case, but the difference is in inland with spouse outland. if your application is closed, you will need to go the path of spousal sponsorship I believe. In my case, they reopened my application and added the spouse and its in process now.
