Landed on Friday, and linked the application in GCkey. It says submitted. Wanna book flights home for June, but honestly have no idea how long it might take for the card to arrive so I need to wait. What is the average processing time now from landing to receiving the card? Cheers

Thank you. I have sent my documents on the 5th of April and it only got to Ottawa yesterday. Xpresspost that was supposed to take 2 business days, took almost 7 to get there. At least I am getting my money back, since Xpresspost is guaranteed delivery.

Got my application approved today by VO OTTAWA. They received my photos and passport copy yesterday and approved everything today. Now waiting for my COPR to arrive and I am off to land as a permanent resident of Canada. Would like to thank everyone on this forum for all the help and advice...

You probably have a couple of months of waiting left then. My application had eligibility and criminality met in January, but I only got my PPR email in April.

Security is in progress even if it says not started. CIC are waiting for results from outside agencies, and when they get the all clear your application will be approved. How long has the whole application been processing?

You cannot claim 50 points for the job offer since you are on a open work permit and no LMIA was issued for the job.

You do not have to be a Canadian citizen to order them. You can authorize an outside company like GCMS buddy to order them in your name. https://www.gcmsbuddy.com/

I would highly suggest you order GCMS notes. You might be in review required for eligibility or in security screening. If something is wrong with the submitted application, you will hopefully have time to correct it.

You are fine then. Your 50 points are legit since YP is employer specific WP. I did the same as you. Since you applied for PR and also have the BOWP in, you are secure. Implied status does not affect the 50 points. Just do not leave Canada, because you will lose implied status.

I would order GCMS notes. You might be stuck in review required.

I got mine in 28 days, ordered in the beginning of March.
