What did your friend declare while sending via DHL. Did he mention the content as PR Cards or just documents. I have heard that courier service don't accept the shipment or charge extra if you say its PR Cards. How much did they charge ? Thanks in advance.

I was in similar situation as yours. I sent photos to them from Ghaziabad, U.P. using EMS Speedpost, which reached in 15 days and my card was approved in 30 days after that. So, no worries. Many people doing soft landing get photo request.

After exactly 50 days of landing, I got photo resend request today. For those, who are outside Canada, how did you manage to send them photos as private courier wouldn't accept it due to PO Box in address. We can send via EMS only. Anybody with similar experience ?

You should check with airlines. As I can see both Air India and Air Canada do not seem to have these restrictions. Both of these are very popular with people flying to Canada from New Delhi.
