Finally got my Canadian passport in just 2 weeks applied nov 1 and received passport on Nov 18.

Hi Yes I got my oath invite this Tuesday Sep 20. I also called them on friday before I got the email to ask about it and they said it will show up anytime 7-10 days before the oath date and it did come on Sep 20. My oath is scheduled for Oct 4th. The tracker was updated on Sep 12 for oath invite.

Ok so oh ok so you didn't do anything to confirm but just showed up on the date and time as per pdf right? how did the oath go? how long was it? congratulations on becoming an official Canadian citizen.

Hi all so I received my oath invite email but there is no instruction how to confirm the invite that I will be there to attend. Do I even need to confirm it or just be there for it? I am confused because the tracker said waiting for you to confirm the oath invite.

Hi I am in the same boat I sent my file in December 2019 got AOR april 2020 and then test july 2021 but my file was never touched from July 2021 to Aug 2022. Recently they updated on Aug 12 and decision was made but no Oath request until now.

Does anyone know how long it takes federal government to send ATIP notes? I applied in July and no update since then.

I just checked my file is now all updated and everything is complete in tracker except oath ceremony and even ecas says decision made. Can someone tell me when should I expect oath invitation? how long it takes for them to send the invite after everything is completed.

If you did that for your file, can you show me that information it provides as I did request that for my file but I dont know what to expect. I contacted my local MP office to get update on my file and they just provide me the same info as on the CIC tracking system and no answer to what is...

Has anyone used the federal ATIP tool to request information on their citizenship file?

I was checking the processing office here at Edmonton but it says they only process PR files, Temp student or work visa files not Citizenship files. Still I did somehow manage to get their email address and sent them the email.
