Believe me its not only Abu Dhabi, i finished 16 Months and till now nothing, background check in process since 15 months and seems no end for that. I got enough from waiting. Still i have the hope to receive something soon, wish luck for all of us and that journey of waiting will end soon.

as far as i know you cannot work there unless you have a CSQ, make sure before taking the move.

I am in the same boat as you its now 15 months, did my medical may 2016 and now expired with no updates from the VO, still in BG check since April 2016, i am fed up and feeling that this wait will never end.
