They might have already extended your medical. In a situation like yours, where PPR is received a month before medical expires, they would normally extend the medicals so that candidate has at least 4-6 months to plan before landing. I would advise to give them a call and check how soon you need...

If you are in SS, you should not expect PPR before 7 months in SS at least. I hope you are not in SS and it is a general delay in IP2 stage. Good luck!
