You could put in it your list of work and education activities because it says to include language training there, and include the name of the course, school, etc.

I personally would make the start date the actual month/year you started. That's what I am doing for the same type of situation in my application.

It's just that would have to work harder to make sure I did not make grammatical errors, etc., in French, so it would take more time and effort to...

I put notes like that on my PR application to try to make it easier for the officier to know where to find information. Not sure if it's different with the citizenship app, but my PR app went through just fine.
