Received COPR yesterday. Drove to Coutts border crossing and did the landing process. They were very friendly there and helpful. from the day we mailed in to end of process: just shy of 4 months.

App Received: 20 July AOR1: 30 Sept Med Request: 2 October Med Pass: 25 October Background check started: 25 OCtober (I think) Passport Request: 2 November. the online website thing was not too accurate I found. US citizen spouse.

We have received no correspondence emails since request to go for medicals. I logged in online to our account to check status. The medical was passed, but there was a message which we read. It is: Invitation to Pre-arrival services What is this typically a sign of?

My application was sent to Sydney. I see in the email right at the end that it is signed by CPC Mississauga.

Ours was sent back. Forgot to add a document. Resent it on July 20th to Sydney.

Strange..... the government only issued a 6 month extension of my wifes initial 1 year visitor record. (I had only submitted her PR application last week). Looks like I will have to apply for another extension of visitor record, after 3.5 months. (since the last renewal application took 70 days...

It will not. The mail will be gone. The government has also not processed my wifes extension of visitor record yet. We applied 2 months ago online. (They suggest applying 30 days before status expires). So we applied two months before......... and it has been 2 months, and nothing has been done...
