    Confirmation of Permanent Residence

    I am in the same situation as Goddrick. So, does that mean you can do the landing now and leave for a vacation outside of the country before receiving the PR card? Is the border officer going to let him re-enter without the PR card though?

    BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

    I applied May 27 for the BOWP. I received a message from CIC yesterday saying that my application was approved and today I received a PDF letter explaining that the permit will be mailed to me and that I should receive it within the next six weeks :)

    I have applied for BOWP on May 27 2016. Current open work permit expires August 31, 2016. I think I might receive my COPR before the expiration of that permit though (AOR February 24, 2016).

    I got my medical passed one month after submitting my application when the doctor had told me it would only take a couple of weeks so don't worry and yes it's only the beginning for you so be patient!
