Don't do flag polling, book an appointment at an IRCC office. The contact details will be in the letter along with passport. You can now do landing at an IRCc office. Officers get annoyed when u cross to US and do landing.

I got my passport back with PR stamp. It took 8 days. We did landing on prescot bridge. Now it became mandatory to book an appointment to do flag polling. Officer get annoyed because we just walked in. He suggested that now onwards appointment is complulsary so share it with all your relatives...

Does anyone know how many days Ottawa office take to process passport stamping. My wife will do landing near Ottawa. can I accompany her during the landing process. I am canadian PR and also has US visa. Please advise.

My interview was waived. I got remedic request on 7 oct 2016. Now desperately waiting for ppr email. Someone in the forum said he got decision made a month ago but no update after than. That post scared me. Good luck to all of us !

There is no specific timelines. My background check took 2 months but generally it should be done within 1-4 weeks. Hope you will hear good news soon. Seeems like they will process all 2015 applications this month. Good luck to all of us. ;D

Hello all, Please suggest if we can change mp in our area. As of now we did mp enquiry twice in the time frame of 4 months. Our mp just give the information already provided in gc key. My file is in 14th month. Can I go for another mp in our area and ask him to push immigration people to process...

they dont have any specific timelines. some people get visa in 1-2 weeks after medical and some like me are waiting from 2 months :( we can just wait and hope for the best. cheers!!

I am 7-Oct-2015 applicant still waiting for PPR. -- Interview waived as per the notes. -- Re-medical done on 7-Oct-2016 -- Decision made on sponsor's side from 14 sep 2016 -- File is in background check as per the MP inquiry done on 4-Nov-2016. Feeling helpless.
