Update of my status: Application delivered in Feb 26th 2016. AOR on July 13th 2016. Additional doc requested on Sept 8th 2016.

Can some one please explain to me how can a PGWP be extended once we receive AOR? Thanks :)

I sent my credit card statements and also bank statements. The credit card statement is to mainly a proof of your residency in Ontario while the bank statement can be used as a proof of having enough funds and also residency.

I received my AOR today. I submitted my application in Feb 28th.

Basically you need to become a PR first. You can start your PHD officially later. We had someone in our lab who was working for his Prof. while he was waiting to get his PR. Once he received it, he officially started the PHD.

That's great news! It means they are checking Jan applications now! I submitted mine and called them today to ask question about the status of mine. They told me it is in the queue.

My package for Masters stream was delivered on Feb 24th. No AOR as of yet :(

I have also submitted my ONIP package on Feb 24th 2016, and haven't received any acknowledgment whatsoever. :(
