Hi Friends- I've been distracted so this update is very late -- but I had my oath on March 28th and my wife and I are now a Canadians! Now we're just waiting on our certificates so that we can travel again...fingers crossed they arrive soon!

Me and many other 2020 applicants have been waiting several months after DM. My wife is 4+ months, someone active on the board is now 7+ months.

Could be a while. I had everything completed on December 15th, haven't heard a peep since. My spouse had everything marked completed around Oct 1 and hasn't heard anything, either.

It's been 9 weeks for me and I still haven't yet gotten an oath invite so... possibly longer. My wife got DM 4 months ago and no oath invite yet and IIRC someone on this board has been waiting 6+ months.

My time between citizenship test and DM was over 6 months and prohibition, language skills, etc. all got processed at the same time. It's been over 2 months since DM...not holding my breath for an oath ceremony email coming in any time soon.

OH JFC that's ridiculous. There's literally nothing left to do, what the hell is the holdup?! Very sorry to hear of your troubles, I hope it resolves quickly.

My friends...after 6 months, 4 days since completing my test, I finally received an update - Decision Made. No email, but my file was updated December 14th and everything except Oath is complete. Any idea how long I can expect to wait before I have my oath scheduled?

Just an FYI who is trying any of these things currently... 1. Order GCMS Notes using Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) Online Request *I've sent 3 ATIP requests - August, September, October. None have ever resulted in anything other than a form email. I've emailed the ATIP email help...

Yes. My wife got asked for passport copies after her test was marked completed.

You're not doing anything wrong....I ordered 3 times and never received a reply. I emailed them, too -- nothing.

I just wrote the Mississauga office and immediately received a form response. Looks like they won't be updating things, either. Decided to call IRCC - they won't answer any questions at all about any applications that aren't already prioritized; the person on the phone suggested I make an ATIP...

I applied On September 9th, no response. My application hasn't moved since July and my test was completed way back in early June...very frustrating and confusing.

How does one determine which office is working on their application? I haven't had any movement on my file since July and even though my test was marked completed on June 10th they still haven't made a decision -- nothing odd about my application -- so I'm wondering if maybe there's something...

I had my test marked as passed on June 10th. Only update since that was an FP request which I filled the same day and which they received and used to update my background verification to complete. Physical Presence, Prohibitions, Language all in progress despite not having anything unusual...

Don't count on that timeline - my test was marked completed on June 10th and I still haven't heard anything 5 months later...
