I'm based in Edmonton. The procedure states that I need to do my finger prints, get it notarized, authenticate the fingerprint form with the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ottawa then submit my application to the Embassy of Qatar in Ottawa. Is this the same procedure you are following?

Finally got my approval e-mail for SOWP from CIC after 4 long months. Paper based application at VFS Chennai, India on 27th January along with passport and medicals. Additional documents (marriage photos) requested on March 21, medicals requested (again) on May 22.

Hi Shah, Thanks for your suggestion, I didn't know the validity of pre-medicals as 60 days, hence I mailed them and also sent the proof again through VFS. Let me wait for the feedback from CIC. Will update it there is any further communication from CIC, all the best for you. Regards, Viky

Thanks for the suggestion, I spoke to the hospital personnel to get it confirmed, mailed CIC with the reference number provided by hospital and also sent a copy of the information sheet provided by the hospital through VFS. Now the wait begins ..... again.

Hello All, My S-OWP application submitted on Jan 27, paper based (New Delhi CHC) along with pre medical and passport. Additional documents (marriage pics) submitted as per request on March 24. Got medical request today by mail. Any idea why medical being requested again? Regards, Viky
