In the notes it said Review Required. I am not sure what caused such delay. We are not criminals, never even had a traffic ticket... Probably it had something to do with a non-accompanying dependent from my husband's side.

I'm with you. 23 months and 4 days, nothing happening for a year and a half, no sign of CIC. I'm a FSW outland. Totally frustrating... is this worth it after all? Looking forward to hearing good news from you.

Sorry to hear that you had to pay twice and maybe will have to pay the third time. They extended our first medicals for a year but it will expire in April 2019. Even if we get the visa, we won't be able to leave so soon. I guess we'll also need another medical.

Outland applicant, 19 months in a few days. We got GCMS notes a month ago. I don't see security screening mentioned. I'm as much puzzled as I was without them.

It's not normal. We are examptions to the rule. We know that such security screenings are done usually if an applicant or a family member has worked with the military or the police, or if they travelled or moved a lot, sometimes, it seems it's just random... There's no specific country or nation...

Thank you all for your anwers. The trick is that we managed to do the medical for the child. The child was with us when we got a call for her medical and we immediately took her. We also sent a copy of her passport and birth certificate. Still we are waiting for so long, our medicals have...
