I got my passport back just a week after sending to Ottawa for visa issuing! I landed on Nov. 23 :) Hope all July applicants get their PR soon!

Got my PPR email from CPC-Ottawa today. So happy :) (But my application status in both mycic account and ecas is still "in process"! I'm not sure why...)

If you live in Canada, put your address in Canada. But, if you are just in Canada as a visitor (for a short time), put your address in your country! My sponsor and I both live in Canada and applied Outland! Since I'm student here, I put my living address in Canada.

A question from Ottawa VO applicant: Do I need to mail the requested documents or only email them?which mail/email address? (The requested documents are related to sponsor's residency in Canada)

Online process means your exam will be sent to CIC electronically and you don't need to send them manually or so.

My doctor had sent out my medical exam to CIC on June 30.

Just a quick (maybe silly) question: Are you requested to submit your Police Certificate? From Canada or back home country? I'm asking this as I have submitted my police certificate from only my back home country NOT Canada even though I have been living in Canada on study permit since 4 years...

My application has been forwarded to VO about 2 weeks ago, but my medical results are not passed yet! I'm getting a bit worried, not sure if that's normal!

There are these two lines on ecas (Applicant side): 1-We received ***'s application for permanent residence on July 7, 2016. 2-We started processing ***'s application on August 24, 2016. It does not show anything about medical results! When should I get that? What do you see on ecas after...

Fingers crossed! :) Two friends of mine who had applied in May got their PPR last week from Ankara, but I know some are still waiting since 7 months ago (in Ankara VO)! No one knows what's going on at the visa offices! Let's see... I hope we can get ours in a month or two!
