Hello everyone!
I would just like to share my brother's timeline for his PR card renewal. His card expired in January this year and he's been a permanent resident for almost 11 years. Application was sent thru Canada Post on July 6, 2019.
His timeline is:

Hi Loulou79,
Congratulations!
You can apply for a passport 48 hours after your oath. It took exactly 10 days for my passport to be delivered at home (regular). I think it is only necessary to go for an express application if you really need a passport very soon. Some of the people I know even...
Hi,
My oath ceremony was not posted before and had to call them because of this. I was told that not all the oath ceremonies will be posted on the website.
Technically, it should only be the stamps that cover your 4 out of 6 years. But I have read other peoples' posts on here that they have translated all non-english stamps on their passports. You can call CIC to confirm on this.
Hi,
Yes, I agree with b52shot. Just the bio page only and it doesn't matter if it is black and white. For the pages with the stamps, they will check it during your interview and make sure that all non-english stamps are translated. Cheers! :)
I had the same case when I did my oath back in July. There was only 1 ceremony listed on the website for Scarborough CIC office and it wasn't my ceremony. Called CIC to confirm and they said that not all ceremonies will appear on the website. Just follow what ever is the oath invite is telling you.
Hi,
I lost mine and requested for a verification of status (VOS) or replacement of an immigration document a few years ago. When I applied for my citizenship in April 2016, I submitted my VOS with an explanation stating why I didn't have the original document. I didn't have any issues at all...
Hi,
I took oath 21 days after my test. I think it depends on how many citizenship ceremonies are being held in a month and the number of new citizens that will take oath at your local CIC office. I hope you get yours soon.
Hi,
I think it is a case to case basis. Also, yours is a family application and they have to complete all the necessary steps for each member before they send you the test invite letter. My local CIC office was Scarborough as well and it took 80 days (58 days excluding weekends and holidays). I...
Mine took about 5 minutes or maybe less. Just answer all the questions properly and make sure you have all the original documents with you in case they ask for it. I think the main purpose of the interview is to check if you can really speak and understand one of Canada's official languages...
