From your timeline, I guess you will get your PR sooner than me. I called CIC-Helpline this week and the agent told me she thinks that the security screening will be done in the summer... I hope that happens early in the summer. Keep me posted.

It's a system glitch. Many people (like me) have the same issue. Do not worry.

Here what I suggest. Hopefully you get your PR soon. Stay in ON or BC for few years, get your Passport and move into the US Stay there for few years, save as much money as you can. Then, come back to Canada with your precious work experience. ;)

I think all of us waiting for the Security Screening, will hear back from CIC more or less at the same time. I had plan for some trips in this summer and cancelled all of them, because I afraid if they suddenly ask for the passport! I do not expect my application to be processed anytime sooner...
