You only have to reply to the first email asking to confirm your application details. There may be an instance that someone from the VO email you directly to confirm some details but it's only if they need clarification. Since you already submitted your address and photo, all you need to do is...

Yep. They have people working on Saturdays now as well. I assume most if not all are processing in-land applications
