No, I haven't even begun the visa application yet. My mother's passport is in expired state. Gotta get that renewed first. Hence the question whether I should take the corrective measure now or rely on "On and the same person" affidavit.

I don't think you need the "invitation letter". Your PGWP should be enough to grant you the visa. Please check if they are currently processing work visa applications in the light of travel bans etc. due to covid.

Hey guys.. I just wanted to provide an update. I finally received my PR card in the mail today. It took 63 days! Landed - 29th July Linked my application - 30th July Ghost update - 27th September Approved and mailed - 2nd October Received in the mail - 4th October

So finally there was an update. Landed 29th July. Ghost Update - 30th September Approved and mailed - 2nd October. Hoping for speedy delivery from Canada post.
