Given you went to Brampton ...I assume its Toronto . So TD can accommodate full name and RBC has put some character restrictions. I dont have account with TD ...let me try going to Scotia where I have another account.

The High Commission of India Ottawa is same character as RBC is getting after trimming Toronto to TOR . So I am not sure if this is the limitation at RBC or all banks kinda 36 Characters . Thanks for responding

For the folks waiting for response on Status request : I just received another response for my status request . This one clearly says the request received on 8th March and the standard response that File is under examination . So this is like they are taking almost 16 days to send the response...

I am in the same boat ...my mail was delivered on 11th Feb and till now no movement. Always getting that stupid response that file is under examination every time I call them.

Depends from case to case eg Mine was delivered on 11th Feb but CC still not charged. Normal Trend is CC Charged between 20-25 Days.
