Still waiting, been dealing with CIC for 5 years now and they never cease to disappoint, they have never done anything on time, starting with my Student Visa which arrived a week after my Master's degree had started...

We must be on the same batch, the officer told me my application was approved on July 3rd.

January 19th, got Ghost Update, Decision Made, officer told me over the phone I've been approved about 3 weeks ago, no PPR...

I refresh my email literally every 5 minutes, sadly it's not there. I'm just glad that once you get the email the process is pretty fast, I can't take it anymore.

I didn't for some reason. I got Ghost Update, Decision Made and had that call, hopefully it'll be either today or tomorrow later in the day, which seems that's when they send out large batches of PPR emails.

I didn't try the automated call. I spoke to an actual officer and they told me "Congratulations, you've been approved but the processing time is at 19 months" so it might still take all that time for me to get the final email. Today is actually my application's 18 month birthday. :(

Congratulations! I'm in a similar situation as you, I got Ghost Update, Decision Made about 4 weeks ago. I called two weeks ago and an officer told me I was approved but no PPR email yet, hopefully this week is the one because my current visa expires on September 3rd and I really don't want to...

This is appalling guys, they can't do this to people. Some of you waiting this long should get together and reach out to the media, this is unacceptable. Did any of you waiting this long get a Ghost Update or Decision Made?

I'm sorry but if you think that paying that amount and having your life on hold for over 30 months (and counting) when other categories pay much less and get it much faster constitutes "whining" I'll gladly accept the insult.

While it was certainly a relief to hear over the phone I was approved I can't even celebrate properly because my current Visa expires on September 3rd so I'm just waiting to see wether the PPR will arrive and will be processed before then. I don't want to give them an extra dime for another...

Let's hope so because this is getting ridiculous for us December 2016, Jan 2017 folks, let me move on with my life please :(

Yes, January 19th, got Decision Made probably 3 weeks ago or so, officer told me over the phone I was approved but nothing yet. :(

Well it's gonna be 3 weeks since Decision Made, what they told me was exactly that: "You were approved but we reserve the right to send it under 19 months".

If you got Decision Made or a Ghost Update I'd advise you to call them. I haven't received my PPR email yet but the officer told me over the phone I was approved already but the final email might still take the full 19 months to arrive. And yes, I agree, this Paper-Based stream is a legitimate...
